PLAYER NAME:
Simon Berrie
ARMY TITLE:
Itlanatl's Vigil
After reading an ancient plaque of great important the slann
mage-priest Ayotl dispatched a host of lizardmen to reclaim a long forgotten
temple city known as Itlanatl. The host now stands watch over the city lest it
succumb to the forces of chaos once again. The venerated skink priest Tetto'eko
has also foretold that there will be many great spawnings of skinks and saurus
in the next few cycles of the moon at this lost city.
REGION : Temple City Itlanatl
REGION RULES: CAVERNOUS
This temple city was long forgotten after the great
cataclysm occurred and time has swallowed this once great city. Over the
millennia the city has gradually sunk into the ground and has been entirely
engulfed through a series of earthquakes. After being recently discovered,
hordes of kroxigor have been instructed by the skinks to make it habitable
again.
REGION: High Cliffs of Tecolotl
REGION RULES: Forest
Once there was just an ordinary steppe on top of these tall
cliffs, but over time rivers have come and gone and left valleys and canyons
spread throughout. Within these deep valleys swathes of dense jungle have
prospered and familiar Lustrian fauna can be seen flying above the jungle
canopy.
REGION: Zacatl Marshes
REGION RULES: Marshes
Not too far from the site of Itlanatl are the newly named
Zacatl Marshes. These marshes are ideal for all sorts of Lustrian life to hunt
down prey, stay hidden or even practising skirmish tactics. The host’s
salamanders are kept here and they will defend their territory voraciously and
without mercy should any hapless warm blood accidentally wander too close.
CAMPAIGN GENERALS
GENERAL: Lord-Mage Priest Tee-Tot’l
SIGNATURE ITEM: Channelling Staff
This is not the Slann’s given name at spawning, but he took
it up after eating one too many fermented ixti grub and damaging the
surrounding temple city somewhat. As penance he has been ordered to find and
fortify the long forgotten temple city of Itlanatl. He is a fourth generation
slann and seen as rather hasty for one of his kind, therefore he occasionally
fails to get much power from the winds of magic. To help him on his mission the
lord-mage priest Ayotl bequeathed him a channelling staff to help him in his
attempts to use the winds of magic.
GENERAL: Scar-Veteran Tot’l-I-Mort’l
SIGNATURE ITEM: Armour of Destiny
Scar-Veteran Tot’l-I-Mort’l spawned thousands of moons ago,
even before there were two moons. He was the only saurus in his spawning and
bore a mark that meant he was destined to die in battle soon. On the eve of the
battle a skink accidentally gave Tot’l-I-Mort’l the armour of destiny held in
his temple city’s vaults instead of the commanding old-blood. Tot’l-I-Mort’l
survived the battle, thanks to the armour and the old-blood suffered mortal
wounds. Tot’l-I-Mort’l has not taken his armour off since that day, in the
belief that it is warding off his long overdue death.
GENERAL: Skink Priest Tuini-Huini
SIGNATURE ITEM: Dispel Scroll
Small of body, capability and of status, this skink priest
lives up to his name. He has shown little promise in casting magic and the only
reason he abided in the skink priesthood is because he felt a dying slann’s
last thoughts, a way to dispel enemy cantrips, and it was etched into his
memory. Usually his duty is to write this dispelling technique onto scrolls,
which usually takes him about the same amount of time as there is between
battles.
