of spawnings Cazt’Maxz’Pelz has resided atop the highest temple in Hua’Huan
watching the world stray from the plans of the Old Ones and fall to destruction.
Seemingly uncaring and as still as the surrounding mountains his skink priest
attendants had thought his mind lost to the aether. Until now! With a single
motion a clenched amphibian fist raised and pointed over the eastern mountain
range. The armies of Hua’Huan must march to defend the world!

BRIEF HISTORY: The decade
before the last Chaos incursion of Lustria saw a great rise in the number of
Cold One Riders spawned, as prophesied by an ancient plaque. Of that time one
spawning eclipsed all others as a thousand riders clawed their way forth from
the sacred pools, coinciding with a massive migration of Cold Ones. The End (loosely
translated) is the last of this brood
and after centuries of wandering the world has heeded the call of
Cazt’Maxz’Pelz.

BRIEF HISTORY: Not many see the
tributary that leads to the Hua’Huan Mountains and none survive to talk of it.
For in the jungle foothills sat sentry is an elite force of lizardmen lead by
the infallible Garax. He is the embodiment of a warrior & soldier combined,
and said to be blessed by Chotec. Wielding a blade that hums with a god-like
engery none can stand before him as he leads the vanguard of the Hua’Huan host.

In accordance with the
newly deciphered Hua’tepk Kala Plaque, Mage Lord Salacmatt moved his army to
the abandoned Temple City of Hua’Huan. There they wait the awakening of
‘Balak’, Sotek’s favoured serpent.
A tremendous valley
covered in Lizardmen architecture and fallen boulders, split by a mighty river
within which a terrifying ancient creature is said to slumber. Contains
Hua’Huan a vast temple city built millennia ago by the old ones. It’s greatest
temples sitting atop the surrounding peaks.

The explorer Gilbert
von Marienburg can be found drowning his sorrows daily at The Sea Hag, claiming
to have stumbled upon a plain of diamonds in a land far away! Many an
inexperienced commander has heard the tale and gone in search of their fortune
only to find their doom. What fault is it of Gilbert’s if he forgot to mention
he was rendered mad from sunstroke, lack of food and a modest portion of
Lizardmen jungle poisons?
Once a lush, mangrove jungle that is now a land of cracked earth,
withered forests and
huge salt crystals (or are they giant diamonds?).
The Border Marsh

Perilous Advance
When entering The
Border Marsh the ships of Kragar the Relentless were sunk by a Lizardmen
patrol. Kragar swore to the Chaos Gods that he would wipe the cold bloods from
existence. Charred remains and skeletons peppered with barbs are the only signs
that his raiding party was ever there.
Filled with stagnant
waterways and fearsome beasts many a greedy explorer has lost their lives
looking for treasures in the mysterious Lustrian ruins that litter the boggy
area.
