Brief History:

A successful member of the Marienburg industrial elite, given the gift of eternal life at a masquerade ball during a business trip to Sylvania, now stronger, cleverer and faster than he ever dreamed possible. Since that day his factories maintained 50 consecutive years of record profits, dividends and un paralleled industrial output, thanks not only to his new found tirelessness but also to his personal physician and trusty manservant Krieger. It is quite amazing workforces productivity when they no longer have the need to rest of in fact breathe, the smell was a bit rough though. Unfortunately this period of prosperity and enlightenment has been ruined by his jealous rivals in court and those damn witch hunters, even the elector count who praised the reforms  (well until he saw them) has turned his back. All because he preferred the taste of a delicious Bretonnian Pinot Noir (aged about 20 years, the duke is not a savage) to a Sauvignon Blanc. Now disposed from his rightful standing Sterling has pledged his life to retaking his rightful place in society and has thrown in his lot with a leader who deserves respect. Never really seeing himself as evil but a relentless pragmatist who sees Nagashs rise as the quickest way back to the top. He also hates elves; you can’t trust anyone whose idea of music is based around pan pipes and harps.
